Derek is an Associate at Auspex Capital. He is responsible for providing analytical support for the firm’s M&A advisory, valuation, and capital formation practices.
Prior to joining Auspex, Derek held a Corporate Finance role in the Strategy and Transactions practice at Ernst & Young where he conducted financial analysis and created valuation models in connection with business acquisitions.
Derek graduated with honors from UCSB, with a BA in Business Economics and Accounting. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of California. In his free time, Derek enjoys visiting museums, playing tennis, and hiking.
